How We Support Our Rescue Dogs
Rescue & Rehoming
Our core mission. We rescue dogs from high-risk situations, provide full veterinary checks, and carefully vet potential adopters to ensure a perfect match.
Foster Care Coordination
We provide a bridge between rescue and adoption. Our foster network gives dogs a safe, domestic environment to decompress while we find their permanent family.
Behavioural Assessment
Every dog is unique. We assess each dog’s temperament and provide basic training or socialisation support to help them adjust to home life.
Post-Adoption Support
We don’t disappear once a dog is adopted. We offer a lifetime of advice and support to our "Stray to Stay" families to ensure the transition is a success.

From Stray to Stay was born out of a simple belief: no dog should be left behind. Based in Northern Ireland, we operate a network of supporters and foster homes dedicated to rescuing strays, surrenders, and dogs in crisis. We don’t just "rehome" dogs; we match them with families where they will thrive. Our team works tirelessly to ensure every dog is healthy, happy, and ready for their new life.
